Thumbs up

Saw two movies this weekend: First, MR. AND MRS. SMITH. A funny, action-packed film. I kept telling myself to suspend my disbelief, but I liked it. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are so devastatingly beautiful, I also kept telling myself I'm not worthy. I hope they procreate and bestow upon the world a perfect specimen.

I liked THE WEDDING CRASHERS even better. Loved that Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman showed off her assets. Vince Vaughn is hysterical. I could live with never again watching Owen Wilson act like a dumb surfer dude. Has he ever tried doing a different character? Really funny movie, though.

You are a WILD woman. Two movies? One weekend? Yowza.

Me? I've been rereading some book about this guy who has a strange nickname. He just got drunk at a football game and tossed his cookies in close proximity to a well-endowed 10th grade girl.

Ever heard of it?

AND I'm such a party animal, I went out to dinner too. (Mom was here, so hubby and I milked the babysitting opportunities.)

Sounds like a horrible book. :) But I'm glad you're rereading it!

We enjoyed THE WEDDING CRASHERS, too! A much needed diversion for us! I hear 40-YEAR OLD VIRGIN is even better!

Didn't you LOVE the ending of Mr. and Mrs. Smith?? I just loved how boyishly Pitt put up both hands to signal a 10!

Loved it! :)

Ahh, Brad Pitt. Ahh, Brad Pitt's hands. (Yeah, loved that. Typical guy who wants to crow about his sex life. Ahh, Brad Pitt's sex life.)

ha ha ha! You just made me laugh outloud! It's nice to see someone else who isn't mad at him. Never liked that skinny, flaxen-haired wife of his anyway. ;-)

-signed: a not so skinny, raven haired, can be made available wife. ;-)

Gee, thanks!

It's hard to feel TOO sorry for skinny multi-millionaires.

And I like that A. Jolie adopted the kids and works for the UN and all, but still can't get past her wearing Billy Bob's blood vial around her neck.

Yes. I agree. As to the vial of blood, I like to think that since adopting her children, she's kinda-sorta left all that silliness behind her. :)

Love Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Liked the movie.
Beautiful, sexy people being beautiful and sexy. With guns.

Loved, loved, loved Wedding Crashers. Too funny. Vince Vaughn is too funny for words. I don't mind watching Owen Wilson even if he does a surfer act; he's got charm. Really liked Christopher Walken and Jane Seymour. Funny, funny, funny.

Debbie, I'm going to this movie (WEDDING) because you're recommending it. It's all on YOUR shoulders...

Yikes! Okay, if you tell me to my face that the movie bored you, I'll give you a dollar. ;)

I saw MR AND MRS a while back and enjoyed it very much. The average hot quotient from that movie was definitely off the charts, though I'm not sure how much I want Brad and Angelina to procreate in real life, at least not immediately. I kinda fall with Jennifer Anniston on this particular Hollywood love triangle. The spread-upon-spread of pics of Angelina and Brad posing as a family and the fact that they've moved into the house he shared with Jen mere months after the breakup must be hard enough.

I love Wedding Crashers. I've seen it twice, and both times, I spent most of the movie laughing. Owen Wilson *usuallu* steals the show with his surfer guy charm, but Vince Vaughn put him to shame in this one. The second time around, I pretty much just concentrated on Vince during the group scenes, and it was even funnier that way.
